I have always wanted to travel the world and am now slowly but surely doing that. The travel bug bit me only well into my 30s and I think my move to the US was half the reason why. Traveling from America is so much easier to do than traveling from India, where I was born and partly raised, or Oman, where I spent most of my formative years. Of course, I was also a child then and pretty much dependent on my parents so traveling at a whim was not exactly an encouraged behavior. But I now live and work in Los Angeles, CA. (And spent 10 years before that calling Atlanta, GA, my home) and am enjoying the opportunities to not only be a tourist in my own city but also be a traveler to anywhere across the U.S. I am still discovering my new home in bits and pieces given how large a country it is, and also welcome any opportunity to visit any part of the globe. This website is a diary of my adventures everywhere. I hope it inspires you to travel more and be culture curious and conscious in an effort to encourage more cultural awareness and understanding.
