I think I am in both categories – come spring and summer, I love heading to the beach for a weekend bike ride and then a picnic brunch. Not surprising then that Santa Monica’s ocean-facing Shore Hotel has a new Spring Picnic At The Shore package so you can do both!

Starting National Picnic Day on April 23 and running until the end of May, if you book the Spring Picnic At The Shore package you can hop on board Shore Hotel beach cruiserswith picnic baskets including gourmet treats, a beach blanket and towels, reef-safe sunscreen from Raw Elements, sustainably sourced and packaged JUST Water bottles, and more.
 
Packaged sustainably in keeping with the hotel’s eco-conscious efforts, you can choose between a charcuterie and cheese board or baguette sandwiches as the main course for your picnic. It also includes freshly baked cookies, kettle-cooked potato chips and bottled water, along with all of the essentials needed for a relaxing day at the beach. That’s a great deal I think!
