When someone invites you to the Rock Ranch at the Rock, you go. If nothing else, curiosity strikes when you hear that name. And its right here in Georgia! A little over an hour away from the metro area, this is a hidden gem, if you can call a space that big 'hidden'. I certainly had never heard about it before and decided to take on the offer for a visit. Lucky for me, they were celebrating a themed day with the Wizard of Oz 75th anniversary celebration so I got to see the place decked up for the occasion. They have events and themed activities all year round so you should check their calendar before you go. I found it a great place for families with kids or larger groups and though my husband and I visited by ourselves, we did have a great time and thought it a fun destination for local families. They have zip lining, farm animals, rock climbing, a corn maze and a few other attractions. Of specific interest to us, as a couple, were their options to rent cabins inside the property. Friends of mine who have visited since I told them about it attested to the fact that their kids were busy all day long, if you want to get keep them occupied and have them tired from joy then this place is it!
