Crack That Whip…Winter Be Gone! Aperschnalzer
Dating back several centuries, whip-cracking “Aperschnalzer” occurs between Christmas and Lent in the foothills of the Alps. The aim of this quirky tradition was to drive out the evil forces of darkness (and winter).
