Quick Labor Day trip to Chattanooga

Unplanned trip to Chattanooga for the long Labor Day weekend resulted in an impromptu AirBnB rental at a horse farm! and a relaxed peaceful time away from home. Pictures here are of the rental home, such a cosy space...away from the city yet just minutes from it. The good part is Chattanooga is just a two hour drive from Atlanta even though the two cities are in different states. Downtown Chattanooga is cute and has several spots along the river to hang out. For the most part, we stayed in, did some reading and TV watching, hung out with our hosts and even had them cook dinner for us one night, checked out the horses on their farm and enjoyed the company of their dog on our short walks around their property. Overall, a relaxed trip and a recommended stay. And on our drive out we visited Rock City Gardens, one of our fave destinations in the Southeast, and enjoy lunch at their scenic outlook restaurant.
