Beyond excited to dine at Ristorante B&B during this trip to Vegas. It is located inside the Venetian and you can easily walk up to it no matter where you are living on the Strip. Owned by Chef Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich, this Italian restaurant had me from the get go. From the impeccable service to the charming, vibrant atmosphere and the courteous staff, the whole experience was simply fantastic. Definitely try to be seated further inside closer to the private wine grotto if you want to be able to converse with your party. They also have some ‘outdoor’ seating, which essentially looks out into the mall area since this is nestled way into the building. If there were one splurge I recommend, other than watching one of the famed Vegas shows of course, it would be this meal. I would estimate average price person at approx. $100, more if you are celebrating something special but the venue demands a good time! We started with some small plates that slowly but surely set the mood for what was to be expected next. The entrees were spot on but that quail preparation they had was a home run. And how can you refuse cannoli at a place like this?!

Off nice and early tomorrow for my first time to Salt Lake City where some dear friends are relocating. Will be my first time to the city and my first time visiting them there. So yes, that is my idea of a perfect weekend getaway - meeting old friends and visiting new places. I have three whole days there and want to relax but also check out a few touristy attractions to check off my list for my first visit to any place in Utah. The weather will be cooler than what I have been accustomed to the last few days but day temperatures seem worthy of some outdoor adventures so hope to get a bike or segway tour in the works. Other places am I eyeing are Temple Square, Red Butte Garden and Beehive House. More ideas courtesy Visit Salt Lake. Not sure how much I will be able to fit in but rest assured there will be a flurry of updates right here!
