2017 West Coast ISPA MEdia Event

Another fantastic event pulled off by the International Spa Association team! Attended as their guest for the first time last year and loved the experience. Was happy to be invited back again this year and got to try some of the treatments offered onsite by several spas and resorts. Not only is it a great experience meeting spa professionals in a casual setting but you are also in an event space and not at their workplace which gives you a whole other perspective on the folks that take care of your wellness and health, and the opportunity to converse with them at leisure, which might not necessarily be an option when you are at the specific spa or resort. As always, the event was held at the beautiful Montage Beverly Hills in the heart of all the BH action. The advantage of this event is obviously the chance to experience some (or all if you are lucky) treatments and services to see what's newly offered at these resorts and spas. Last year, as a newbie to the event, I registered too late to be able to sign up for any of the treatments but this year was a different deal. Guess who signed up for every experience she possibly could in a three hour timeframe?! Yours truly :) Pictures above don't do justice but I did savor two facials - one anti gravity and one anti wrinkle!!, a mermaid nail manicure, and two massages - one was a lovely back treatment while the other was a reflexology ball for my feet. Wish I could have spent more time learning about the other spas present but this was a handful as is. Of course, the ISPA event is incomplete if not for the graciously provided goodies gifted at the end of the evening - the images below give you an idea, take a sneak peek, go on!
