I've heard so much about this place that I am happy for their 10 years even though I have not been in there yet! Rustic Canyon Wine Bar & Seasonal Kitchen is turning ten years old on December 8, 2016. To ring in the anniversary, they are bringing together chef friends from around the country, as well as from the restaurant’s past, to collaborate on a series of multi-course dinners on October 3, November 7, and December 8. Have you marked those dates? Okay read on for more details :)

Rustic Canyon was born out of a series of dinners hosted by Founder Josh Loeb in his family’s beautiful tree house of a home nestled in Santa Monica’s Rustic Canyon neighborhood. The schedule and details for the Rustic Canyon 10th Anniversary Dinner Series are here of your consideration:
  • October 3 – Out of Town Friends – Chef Jeremy Fox welcomes acclaimed chef friends he worked with before landing at Rustic Canyon and who collectively hold six Michelin stars.  James Syhabout (Commis, The Dock and The Beer Shed, and Hawker Fare in Oakland and San Francisco), Mourad Lahlou (Aziza, Mourad), Gerard Craft (Sardella, Brasserie by Niche, Taste by Niche, Pastaria, and Porano Pasta), Carlos Salgado (Taco María), and Rustic Canyon Family of Restaurants Co-Owner and Head Baker Zoe Nathan join him to cook a six-course meal. How can anybody not get excited about that running list of names?!
  • November 7 – Local Friends – Jeremy Fox’s Los Angeles chef friends Walter Manzke (République), Jessica Koslow (Sqirl), Ori Menashe (Bestia), and Josef Centeno (Bäco Mercat, Bar Amá, Orsa & Winston, Ledlow, and the forthcoming Bäcoshop) join him and Rustic Canyon Pastry Chef Jun Tan for this six-course dinner. Music. to. my. ears.
  • December 8 – History of Rustic Canyon – Former Rustic Canyon chefs Samir Mohajer (Cabbage Patch) and Evan Funke (the forthcoming Felix) join current talent Jeremy Fox, Jun Tan, Zoe Nathan, Chef de Cuisine Brittany Cassidy, and Sous Chef Andy Doubrava for a six-course celebration on the restaurant’s actual anniversary.
Please note:
---Each dinner is $125 per person and tickets are available for purchase online only at https://rusticcanyon.tocktix.com/.
---Rustic Canyon is not taking any reservations over the phone for these events.
---There is a vegetarian option available for the December 8 dinner, but all other modifications and substitutions are politely declined.

Additionally, Wine Director Kathryn Coker and Sommelier Ferdinando Mucinero have created optional Classic Wine Pairings ($55 per person) and Rare and Vintage Wine Pairings ($95 per person), which can be purchased in advance or during each respective dinner.

Now that we got all of that outta the way...who's going?!
