Lavender and Truffles, a non-dairy frozen dessert ice cream brand made with five simple ingredients now has a pop-up parlor in Venice that will remain open throughout the holidays and until the end of the year. Plant-based products are leaping from supermarket shelves thanks to the rise of healthy and transparent diets with millennials at the forefront of the better eating movement. Lavender and Truffles is certified dairy-free and made with organic oat milk.
There are eight bespoke flavors available: Lavender White Pepper, Sumac Roasted Strawberry, Ginger Turmeric, Black Tahini, Spiced Kona Coffee, Spiced Hot Cocoa, Raspberry Lemon, and Mint Strawberry. Founder and chief culinary artisan Alicia Liu was inspired by spices and herbs that are traditionally found in the culinary dishes of Asian cultures. She created Lavender and Truffles to show the sweeter side of the often savory flavors.
As a self proclaimed fitness and wellness enthusiast with a deep passion for cooking, she brings her love of fresh, organic, and simple ingredients to life in her plant-based ice cream brand. Lavender and Truffles is available in a pint (16 oz) size and a special holiday gift set that includes all eight signature flavors. Also available at Kye’s Montana in Santa Monica. Can't wait to go try it - that mint strawberry sounds heavenly!
