Beach destinations are always a great option to enjoy some much-needed rejuvenation and relaxation so with the Memorial Day long weekend coming up soon (and July 4thlong weekend following not too far away), here are a few getaways to plan for if sandy shores and ocean blues are calling your name. Although I admit, you might want to spend much longer than the weekend at some/all of these spots!

Turtle Inn, Belize
If you're searching for seclusion and privacy, this is the beach getaway for you. You can rest easy in your own private living arrangements or venture out and see what the area has to offer. Plus, if you're looking for being spoiled, you won't be disappointed here. There is something fun and exciting waiting for everyone.  If you live in Los Angeles then this is a good drive option that takes you away from the maddening crowds of Santa Monica and other southern cities, to a location up north that isn’t usually as populated. The white sandy beaches in this quant little city town of sorts provide the best respite from the heat and the overly packed touristy regions. Check into one of the bed and breakfasts and take time to unwind.
