With National Cappuccino Day tomorrow in time for the elections here in the U.S, and National Espresso Day coming up shortly after on the 23rd, there is a fair chance you will see me sipping on one of those drinks as the beautiful Fall weather takes over here in Hollywood.
I hear L.A.’s newest Italian coffee house and wine bar, Vinoteca, debuted in the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, is offering an authentic Napolini experience. Vinoteca opens its doors 6.30am daily as Vinoteca Espresso—a tranquil hideaway equipped with an elegant, multi-tiered, eight-hour drip, cold brew maker (Yama) as well as roast imports from Caffè Umbria. In addition to handcrafted espresso, Vinoteca also brews a selection of specialty/seasonal cappuccino flavors, including ced horchata, Cookies ‘N Cream (the simple syrup is blended with a freshly baked cookie actually), Pumpkin Spice (emblazoned with jack-o-lantern coffee art for max effect), matcha, peppermint and Cuban - seasoned with sweetened condensed milk! Other coffee shops I have my eyes on are Go Get Em Tiger (on Hollywood Blvd.), Intelligentsia (renovated location in Silver Lake) and Shuhari Matcha Café…where will you be sipping your magic potion?
