Qatar Airways Unveils Award-Winning Qsuite On Los Angeles Flights

Qatar Airways is offering Business Class passengers a new level of luxury and innovation on flights from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with the introduction of its globally-acclaimed Qsuite Business Class concept. The award-winning Business Class experience debuted on routes between Los Angeles and Doha daily in February 2019. The “City of Angels” will be the sixth gateway in the U.S. to operate the “First in Business Class” product.

As of January 2016, Qatar Airways started operating daily, non-stop service from Los Angeles, representing Qatar Airway’s first passenger service to the West Coast of the U.S. The expansion of Qsuite to Los Angeles is part of Qatar Airways’ commitment to continuously revolutionize the passenger experience, enabling travelers to enjoy First Class hospitality and amenities within the airline’s Business Class cabin. Qsuite, a patented Qatar Airways product, is already fast collecting awards for setting a new standard for luxury travel.

Bringing the industry’s first-ever double bed into Business Class, customizable private cabins for up to four people and movable panels allow for transforming the space into a social area, or to work, dine or socialize. This revolutionary seat design takes cabin innovation and personalization to an entirely new level, thanks to its quad configuration. These revolutionary features led Qatar Airways to win the ‘Best Business Class Seat’ and ‘World's Best Business Class’ awards at the prestigious 2018 Skytrax World Airline Awards. 

Qsuite is currently available on select Qatar Airways’ Boeing 777-300ER, Airbus A350-900 and the airline’s newest aircraft, the Airbus A350-1000, in which it was the global launch customer for in 2018. The A350-1000 offers a total of 327 seats across two cabins, with 46 award-winning Qsuite Business Class seats and 281 18-inch extra wide Economy Class seats. The aircraft provides enhanced levels of passenger comfort, thanks to the lowest twin-engine noise level of any aircraft, advanced air conditioning technology and full LED mood lighting.
