The Italian American Museum of Los Angeles hosted an exclusive media preview for the annual Taste of Italy fundraiser. The cicchetti cena (Venetian small-plates style dinner) was held in Hermosa Beach at Sosta Cucina, helmed by Executive Chef Luca Manderino. Each course of the evening's meal was paired with wines (white or red) and museum staff shared more details about this year's event. Taste of Italy Los Angeles is a premiere food and wine event in the city to be held this year on Saturday, October 12, 2019. Some of the businesses participating include Burrata House, Drago Centro, Brera, Palmina Wines and Pasta Sisters, among others. Scheduled for 5pm – 10pm, you get to nosh on bites and drinks from almost 50 businesses in total. This is a 21 and over event so age verification is required. All proceeds from ticket sales benefit the museum which is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
