Two travel related stories caught my eye this month, and one other that I thought was a great read too!
nFirst, the Pursuits column that highlighted travel gear products getting smarter blending functionality, technology and aesthetics. That, to me, is the trifecta of benefits future travelers seek in their purchases, especially given most products with such benefits do cost a pretty penny. Up for discussion are the Venture Backpack, Robot Suitcase, Cord Wrap Set and LG’s Cam Plus. You can read the story here.
Second, the Pursuits Black Book column, which showcased San Diego as a travel destination. Given that it is about 3 hours away from L.A, it is an easy weekend getaway for me and you can read about the July 4th weekend I spent there this year right here. Covered some ground but not much so rest assured I will be visiting multiple times but the article does speak about North Park as an emerging neighborhood, which is the area where I stayed in a cute AirBnB property and also had the time to dine/beer taste in the area. As a side trip, they suggest Temecula, which is also a place I’ve visited and highly recommend a wine tour there. The Zoo, of course, takes a whole day if you like immersing yourself in such experiences. They have some tips for that as well. You can read the story here. Third, and this is not a travel related piece, but made for interesting reading - was a profile on the co-founder of the Washington Speaker's Bureau with some great tips on How to Give a Great Speech, if that sort of thing interests you. And you can read that story here. Any thoughts/feedback/inputs on this post or the contents discussed here? Let me know in the comments below, thanks for reading!
