Influenster unboxing
Unboxing the Influenster Endless Summer Vox Box was quite the thrill today!
Mighty excited to find this cutesy in my mailbox today when least expected! Something fun about a surprise like this sitting there just waiting for you...not very often in my adult life that I've gotten gifts that I enrolled for myself, ha! So here goes...
Some of these brands I was aware of and some not. Some of these products I've used before and some not, so this was a mixed bag of sorts to unbox and explore. I enjoyed the nice mix of products and was truly glad to be introduced to a few!
1. Let's start with beauty products! I got into the makeup game pretty late in life so still figuring out what works or not. So the Max Factor products - Mascara and eye liner - were both welcome trials. I liked the mascara but the liquid eye liner was a hit given its more a pencil type than a brush, for someone like me that isn't well-versed in applying, this a big plus! The Not Your Mother's Leave-In Conditioner I actually did not know what to do with at first but I've used it plenty now to say I love it and am going to make it a constant in my makeup armory. The Seche nail polish was a unique color, interestingly named Cunning! It needed at least three coats applied but stayed a week or more which was good by my count. It was also interesting how the shade looked different indoors to outdoors - its been a favorite for the last month or so and I can see wearing this well into winter before I head for a darker shade.
2. Consumables - There was Numi Tea and Iron-Tek Protein. Numi now is a brand I've heard of before and maybe even tried if memory serves me right but these flavors were certainly new. I like the turmeric best but then again, I'm Indian so pretty much anything turmeric scores high here! The Iron-Tek Protein sachet was a one time mix and I just had it dissolved in cold water after a walk in the morning. I liked it but would probably get bored having to consume it that ay every day.
Of all the products tried - my fave was the Leave-in Conditioner because it was something brand new and very useful that I can totally see myself sticking to for the next few months. If you've tried any of these products or have other recommendations, I'd love to hear in the comments below! Cheers!
*All opinions 100% mine. I received this product free from Influenster for testing purposes. I was not compensated for this post and neither are these affiliate links to products/brand website!
